Triangle Inradius Calculator

Triangle Inradius Calculator for layout notes, drafting, and classroom geometry when you want a fixed formula answer without improvising the math by hand.

Important Use Notice

Formula

inradius = area / semiperimeter

Find the triangle area and divide by the semiperimeter to get the incircle radius.

The three sides must form a valid triangle.

Example

13 units, 14 units, 15 units gives Inradius 4.

Check

Mixing units, scales, or coordinate conventions across side a, side b, side c before calculating inradius.
Rounding too early when the result still feeds another geometry or algebra step.
